Important notice regarding recall of Takata air bag inflator

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this recall may cause you.
We have been informing the subject vehicle owners related to the following recall regarding the field action by means of direct mail from the Mazda dealers.

In order to expedite the remedy of the affected vehicles with Takata air bag recall, new measure was launched from May, 2018. Some of the subject vehicles are unable to pass the vehicle inspection, if they are not yet remedied under the Takata air bag recall. The subject vehicles coverage of this measure will be expanded sequentially from May, 2020 through May, 2024. Please contact any authorized Mazda dealer near you. We are concerned with your safety and strongly encourage you to have your vehicle remedied immediately. (The remedy will be performed free of charge.)

The affected vehicle models are as follows, which cannot pass the vehicle inspection.
